Return and Renewal of tablets for the Freshman Program

Renewal Procedures for Freshman Project Tablets (Excluding General Tablets)
The tablet computers loaned by the Library under the Freshman Program during this semester will be due on January 9, 2026. To support students learning during the winter break, renewal service will be provided this semester.
Students who wish to renew their tablets are required to visit the Library counter on the 2F of the Technology Building, Main Campus or the Library on the 2F of Building A, Medical Campus, during opening hours before January 9. Please bring your student ID and the tablet computer currently on loan. For detailed opening hours, please refer to the Office of Library and Information Services website. This renewal will extend the loan period until February 25, 2026. Students in need of renewal must complete the procedure before the due date.
If no return or renewal is completed by the due date, overdue fines will be charged according to the memorandum signed at the time of borrowing the tablet: NTD 100 per day for overdue items. Tablets overdue for 30 days or more will be considered lost and must be compensated at full replacement cost in accordance with regulations. In addition, students are reminded to take good care of the tablets during the winter break. Any damage or loss upon return will also require compensation as stipulated.
This renewal can only extend the loan period until February 25, 2026, and no further extension will be granted for any reason. Please be sure to return the tablet within the specified period to avoid substantial fines and to facilitate the application process for the next semester.
If freshmen still need to borrow a tablet after the start of the next semester, applications are tentatively scheduled to open on February 2 (Monday), 2026 for economically disadvantaged students and on February 3 (Tuesday) , 2026 for general students. Any changes will be announced on the Office of Library and Information Services website during the winter break. Approved applicants will be notified separately, and tablets will be distributed accordingly.
